I will work diligently to edit your photos and return previews to you around 4-5 days after the photoshoot. You will first receive previews of your photos with basic enhancements which include lighting, temperature, minor adjustments, and a watermark. You can choose your favorites from this first round of photos for more in-depth, final edits. These edits include facial enhancement, lighting adjustments, teeth whitening, background touch ups, and more. After choosing your favorites for further edits, you will receive the final copies through an online gallery where each file can be downloaded to your mobile device or desktop. I include both filtered and natural versions of each selection to ensure that you receive multiple options of each photo.

The number of photos that you receive depends on the package that you purchase. To see the exact number of photos for each package, visit my services tab. After you choose your favorite images, I dedicate time and use a keen eye into perfecting each final edit to make sure that you receive the final photos that you love the most.

At the beginning of each session, I always ask clients how they feel in front of a camera. If you are comfortable posing and are familiar with various poses, I encourage you to do your thing!! I will be your personal hype man from behind the camera. If you feel awkward or uncomfortable getting your photo taken, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help you warm up so that I can capture your most authentic self. After several years of taking portraits, I have a bunch of poses that capture all the angles. I absolutely love capturing candid moments as well, but if you are a visual learner like me, I love to reference Pinterest to guide us in the right direction!

Absolutely! I highly encourage you to print your photos for a more tangible experience. I am happy to print them for you, but you also will receive a print release if you want to print them yourself.

Although I do shoot in RAW format to capture the best exposure and have post-production flexibility, I do not deliver RAW files. It is important to me that you receive the best versions of your photos, and part of your investment goes towards my editing style. The photos that you receive will be high quality, edited JPEG images.

Wear something that expresses who YOU are.
Did you play a sport in high school? Bring your jersey! Just committed to a college? Throw on your college hoodie. Play in a band or love music? Bring your instrument or wear your favorite band’s merch. I love when clients express themselves through their passions or future endeavors, so bring props and don’t be afraid to have a casual outfit in addition to a formal one.
If you are looking for something more formal I am happy to send some inspiration! I recommend sticking to solid colors as stripes or patterns can distract from the focus (you!). If you purchased a package for more than one outfit, I encourage outfits for standing and sitting poses.
The most important part of your outfit is that you feel comfortable in what you are wearing as this will boost your confidence when your photos are being taken!

My photography style is rooted in natural portrait photography. I love capturing warm tones that provide a sun-kissed and vibrant feel. I hold my sessions at golden hour, an hour before sunset, in order to provide a calm and saturated imagery. It is my goal to capture your authentic self, and you remain the focus throughout the entirety of the session. To enhance the focus on you, my style includes a low aperture which lets in the most natural light and blurs the background to give a crisp focus. I use natural elements during the photoshoot like trees or long grass to aid with posing and give an outdoorsy feel. My editing style leans on the warmer side to emphasize the golden elements, but I do my best to preserve the natural photograph while enhancing the most important and flattering parts.

I use a Canon 5D Mark iv with a Sigma 50mm f1.4 prime lens and I will often also use my Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

For locations that are outside of a 15 mile radius from my location, I do charge a travel fee to cover direct travel expenses.

Most likely, yes! As a photographer one of my greatest passions is being able to share my work and potentially inspire other people, so it is likely that I will post photos from your session on my website or social media (I will tag you of course!). If you are uncomfortable with having your photos shared please let me know and we can work something out!

PELASE DO! I absolutely love animals and pets are an easy way to warm up in your photo session. There’s nothing better than laughing alongside your best friend and getting some memorable photos of those moments. Even if your pet may be a little hectic in front of the camera, we can always capture some moments playing fetch, tug of war, or just running around. I definitely encourage clients to bring their pet if they can, I would just suggest bringing a friend to tag along to hold your pet during the rest of the session.

I will always encourage my clients to take on whatever the weather brings for some potentially unique and memorable photographs, but I completely understand when the weather just is not matching your vision for the shoot.
If you would like to reschedule your session due to the weather, I will fill you into my calendar at the next available date.

Photo gallery proofs allow you to select your favorite images to be further edited in an effective and navigable manner. Proofs are uploaded as lower quality images that contain basic adjustments and a watermark so that you are able to decide which photos you would like as your final edits. I ask that you only share final edits as these photos are also a reflection of my brand and editing style, and I want to make sure that you receive the best possible images before sharing. Final edits will be high-resolution without the watermark, and will include my style of editing, so I ask that clients do not post until they receive the final images.
